Welcome to Fall in Love (referred to as the "Service"). The application is an aesthetic, premium love days counter designed to provide an intimate, beautiful, and absolutely private space for couples.
We believe that trust and privacy are the strongest pillars of any relationship. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data and our transparent commitment to your privacy.
1. Core Principle: 100% Offline-First
Fall in Love operates strictly on an offline-first architecture (100% Offline-First). All your relationship information, anniversaries, names, avatars, backgrounds, and timeline diary records are stored securely and exclusively on your physical device via Drift local database (a reactive SQLite engine). We do not host or operate cloud database servers to retrieve or copy your personal diaries, meaning your love journey remains completely within your control.
2. Data We DO NOT Collect
Because the app runs 100% locally on your phone, we commit to NEVER collecting, transmitting, or sharing any of the following information with our developers or any third-party servers:
- Personal Identifiable Information (real names, email addresses, phone numbers).
- Account Information (no registration, login, or social media links required to use the app).
- Location history, phone contacts, or browser directories.
- Your private love diary caption texts and sweet pictures.
- Biometric Credentials (FaceID, TouchID): If you activate our App Lock feature, the biometric scanning is processed entirely locally by your device’s operating system. We only receive a success/fail response and never have access to your face or fingerprint signatures.
3. Local Device Storage
To enable the application's widgets and core tracking mechanics, the following parameters are stored locally inside your device's protected app directory:
- Relationship Settings: Your name, your partner's name, and your anniversary start date.
- Graphic Assets: Cropped versions of your partner profiles and custom dashboard backgrounds.
- Timeline Diary: Milestone events, dates, custom texts, and accompanying pictures.
- Design Customization: Your selected glassmorphism presets, typography choices, and colors.
- App Lock Hash: Securely cryptographed PIN hashes (if using PIN lock) managed locally via Flutter Secure Storage.
Important Notice: Because all these elements live strictly on your phone, uninstalling the application will automatically wipe the database. We cannot recover lost diaries or setups as we keep zero cloud backups.
4. Device Permissions
The application requests local permissions to run its features. We only request what is necessary to operate locally:
- Photo Library Access: To let you pick profile pictures and custom background wallpaper from your camera roll.
- Local Notifications: To schedule offline push reminders on upcoming milestones (100 days, 1 year, etc.) without hitting any cloud networks.
- Internet Access: Used solely to load lightweight, friendly banner and interstitial advertisements from AdMob (in the free version of our app) to support ongoing development.
5. Third-party Advertisements
To keep all premium customization features free for all couples, our Service integrates third-party mobile advertising libraries. These services may collect technical device identifiers (such as Mobile Advertising IDs) in accordance with their privacy policies:
- Google AdMob & Google Play Services: Used to display standard banner ads in Settings/Diaries and interstitial ads after task completion. You can review how they process data at the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or platform capabilities. We will post any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and displaying a clear notification within the application's settings.
